Time To Start Working on 2015 Vision Boards

Have you grasp the fact that there is less than two full months remaining in 2014.  While we finalize our affairs in this year, it is vital that we prepare for next year. Honestly by now you should already have plans in motion and goals set for 2015.  If you are not working on 2015 now, you are actually behind.. One of the best ways to set things in motion is by creating a vision board..

A vision board is a tool used to help clarify, concentrate and maintain focus on  specific life goals. Literally, a vision board is any sort of board on which you display images that represent whatever you want to be, do or have in your life. It is common to create a vision boards every year because by the end of one year the should have met or exceeded many of last years goals.  However, I have found myself doing two boards per calender year.Vision-Board

To get started, write down one of the big goals you have for your life that you want to start working on right now. Be as specific as possible! Your goal can be in the areas of lifestyle & fun, career & work, money & finances, health & wellness, family & friends, love & romance or personal growth and spirituality. Normally I do two boards, personal and professional.  I  visualize some of the big goals I have for the lifestyle & fun area of my life, for my personal board and then focus on career goals and finances for my professional board..

There are two ways to create vision board; one is the traditional board and the other is a digital board.  Honestly, they are the same but the digital vision board can be accessed at any time and it takes less work. Because so many of us stay glued to our smartphones and computers, digital vision boards provide a very effective way to “keep your eye on the prize” and stay focused on what you need to do so you can get  where you want to be. I am more of a hands on person so I prefer the traditional vision board just as I prefer books over e-books.  However, I plan to create a digital board via my Pinterest account, which I will post next week.  Capture

You can create your digital vision board at no cost using PicMonkey or PicStitch (smartphone app for iPhone and Android) by making a collage of your images. You can also use Pinterest to build a board around a specific goals.  Oprah.com also has a free web-based application called O Dream Board to help you build an online collection of inspiring images.

No matter how you chose to create your board, know that it is a great way to see your dreams become reality.  The joy of being able to remove things from that board and experience your dreams come true is priceless.
