Balling for Lupus

P.H.A.T. GIRL FRESH is honored to be working with the beautiful Mrs. Bo Talley during the “Balling For Lupus” Charity Basketball game. As an advocate for women I support a number of events that bring awareness to issues that touch and concern women. However Lupus awareness is near and dear to me because someone very important to me lives with the illness. That person is my Bigmama; my aunt by blood but my grandmother and mother at heart.

Mrs. Bo Talley was among the first individuals honored as by P.H.A.T. GIRL FRESH during the Life Styled event. I have a get level of respect for her and her efforts to encourage women to live their best lives despite age and other factors. So, when she informed me of her intention to have this event, I assured her that I would assist and volunteer as much of my time and energy as I could.

I look forward to many of you coming out and showing your support for a worthy cause while having family friendly fun, and if you enjoy getting out on the court, why not keep going at home with FanDuel. Below you will find information and a link for the tickets (click the flyer or the “Balling for Lupus”)

“Balling For Lupus”

ATLANTA, GA -“Female” Celebrity Charity Basketball Game to Raise Awareness & Funds for the LUPUS FOUNDATION OF AMERICA GEORGIA CHAPTER.

In an effort to raise awareness and funds for the LUPUS FOUNDATION OF AMERICA GEORGIA CHAPTER; Fred Williams, Head Coach of the WNBA Tulsa Shock and Wife Mrs. Bo Talley-Williams CEO of Blaq Pearl Entertainment will host a “Celebrity Female Charity Basketball Game” themed “BALLING FOR LUPUS” at Ronald McNair High School, August 16th, at 5:00pm. This is an historic event (the first all female celebrity game in Atlanta) that will bring together WNBA players and female celebrities all for one common dynamic, LUPUS AWARENESS.

LUPUS is near and dear to their families hearts because they lost an aunt due to complications of LUPUS; they also have a cousin who is currently living with this mysteriously unpredictable illness. These loved ones and their knowledge of the illness is the driving force behind Mr. and Mrs. Williams determination to bring aid and awareness.
